Childhood Cancer Is Not Rare

Every day in the US, 46 families hear the unimaginable words, "your child has cancer." That’s as many kids as a school bus. Every day, these forty-six families learn that the treatment options and outcomes for our precious children are not only excruciating, but may or may not have advanced in decades. Decades. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Research funding is desperately needed for childhood cancer. Providing more options to more families facing terrible diagnosis is the ultimate way forward.

The Mighty Millie Foundation supports research for Rhabdomyosarcoma and other treatment options that result in better outcomes and fewer toxins in the body. Research is evaluated through the expert work of other nonprofits with advanced medical review boards and screening for the highest quality trials.

More than 4%

4% of the national budget for cancer research is used specifically for childhood cancer research. This number has to grow in order to take pediatric cancer seriously.

Research is still very much private funded. Your donations will help make up for the lack of targeted national spending for Rhabdomyosarcoma trials and less toxic treatment options.
